The sheer variety of events is quite unmatched by any other arts and leisure club in London, and indeed, EL is the only London-based events organisation that places equal emphasis on arts, entertainment, cultural, sports, outdoor / weekend activities, city breaks, parties, social and leisure events. We are also London's only club that offers its members great benefits such as weekly FREE badminton, discounted entry to a top London Gym without having to pay expensive gym membership fees, and 50% - 85% off theatre/concert tickets without the high credit card charges or ticket mark-ups levied by some other organisations and clubs.

WHO JOINS ENTERTAINING LONDON?

Sociable, lively, people in their 20's and 30's. Our membership is international and covers a wide range of careers, including doctors, lawyers, teachers, nurses, accountants, musicians, actors, architects, journalists, and professionals from the fields of IT, marketing, PR, and many more. All our members are intelligent, good fun, and above all, thoroughly nice, normal people.

ARE YOU TOO BUSY TO PLAN YOUR SOCIAL LIFE?

Many people in today's fast-paced working world find they simply do not have the time to plan ahead for their social life. When you join EL, you can pick up the large, monthly events programme on any given day, and find something to go to spontaneously on the spur of the moment.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND THE EVENTS?

ENTERTAINING LONDON Parties typically attract 200 - 250 members and guests.

When deciding to join any arts, sports or leisure club, it is very important to double check that the club has been running for several years and has at least 800 members so that you will get an opportunity to meet plenty of people at consistently well attended events. Also check that the club is run by a friendly, popular team of Directors and Events Hosts. ENTERTAINING LONDON has around 30 Events Hosts and is particularly well known for its fun, relaxed atmosphere created by the members and team.

Around 90 people on average come along to our Tuesday Members' Club Nights.

Regular evening and Saturday night events often attract upwards of 70 members. 20 - 30 members attend most of our theatre and restaurant events, sometimes more if the venues can accomodate us! We regularly have around 20-40 attending our Multi-Activity / Sports weekends.

BUT I WON'T KNOW ANYONE WHEN I JOIN!

ENTERTAINING LONDON appreciates that for many people, taking the initial step of joining a group of people you never met before can seem a little daunting. That is why we regularly organise New Members' Nights, to welcome and introduce new members to the Club in relaxed surroundings at great venues. EL is a friendly, non-"cliquey" organisation! Do come to our New Members' Nights or dinners as often as possible after you join, and you will soon find yourself easily making new friends.

SINGLE?

ENTERTAINING LONDON is not a dating agency. We won't match you up with other members or arrange blind dates, and we don't restrict our events to dinners only! Instead, EL organises a wide range of activities, with the emphasis on fun, friendship and shared interests. This is a far more spontaneous, relaxed way of meeting people. Everyone attends the events and activities they enjoy the most. There are so many events to choose from, you can easily meet and join up with people who also like the things that you like doing! EL has a 50/50 male/female ratio and many members form long-term relationships and even get married through meeting at ENTERTAINING LONDON events.
